Thomas G. Schober brings over five decades of legal and financial expertise to his clients, with a practice focused on business and taxation law. A Certified Public Accountant as well as an attorney, Tom has extensive experience in complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from Marquette University in 1970 and his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 1972, where he was awarded the Thomas More Scholarship in both 1969 and 1972. He was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1973 and became a CPA in 1976.
Tom is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Outside the office, Tom enjoys flying drones and radio-controlled airplanes, a passion that evolved from his earlier years as a private pilot. A lifelong Wisconsinite, he was born in Waukesha in 1948 and resides in Summit with his wife, Patty. They have six children and 10 grandchildren. Tom is also an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.
